Prudential Americana Group contributes to several charities and organizations throughout the year through the Americana Charitable Foundation.  Funds are raised through a variety of fundraising events, company contributions andd  Sales Executives who donate on every closed transaction.

 Sunshine Kids Foundation
SUnshine KidsThe Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, we are committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients.

The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America. 

Annual fundraising events include a golf tournament held in May and a Charity Auction in the Fall.

  • 2006 - Americana Charitable Foundation raised $177,992 for the Sunshine Kids Foundation - the 7th largest contributor in the entire Prudential network.
  • 2007 - Americana Charitable Foundation contributed over $84,000 for the Sunshine Kids Foundation

Opportunity Village 
Opportunity VillageOpportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with vocational training, employment and social recreation services that make their lives more productive and interesting. Through Opportunity Village’s programs and services, hundreds of people with disabilities are learning vocational skills and being placed in jobs throughout the community.

Americana supports Opportunity Village through:

  • Shredding and document destruction in each office
  • Volunteering at the Annual Magical Forrest

American Cancer Society
ACSThe American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

  • Americana participates in the annual Breast Cancer Awareness walk each October.

Toys for Tots
Toys for TotsThe mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

  • Americana supports Toys for Tots each holiday season by collecting toys in each branch office from October through December.
